Ages and Programs

Main Camp (rising K - rising 3rd grade)
Our main camp enjoys daily outings, a trip once a week, fantastic visiting entertainers (like the Bubble Show, Monkey Show, Juggling Workshop and Bunny Cuddling. Dog Workshop and more!)

Older Division (rising 4th - rising 6th grade)
Our older division enjoys everything above plus they have an additional two trips each week.

C.I.T. Program (rising 7th & rising 8th grade)

Our C.I.T. program offers young leaders their first professional experience in a dynamic camp setting. By assisting experienced counselors in assigned bunks, participants build meaningful connections with campers while developing essential leadership skills. In addition to hands-on training, C.I.T.s enjoy a dedicated daily activity and receive a $30 weekly gratuity.

Cost

Main Camp: Sliding scale of $350 - $425 per week
Older Division: Sliding scale of $400 - $475 per week

C.I.T. Program: Sliding scale of $200 - $275 per week.

Why the sliding scale?

We know that stimulating and enriching summer programs are important to a child's development, and we want to make sure our camp is accessible to all families. The lower end of the sliding scale is the discounted rate, the upper end of the sliding scale is the true representation of the cost of camp. Families can choose how much to pay in this range.

FOOD

In past years we have provided 2 kosher and wholesome snacks AND a lunch daily. Parents need to send only a labeled water bottle. (2026 note: We will be providing snack, not sure about lunch yet :)

Location

Camp takes place at Chabad of Cole Valley. We have a large airy indoor space that we we use for lunch and for special activities, but we are outside 75 %of the day! The children go on daily excursions to parks, playgrounds and hiking.  We play various sports at Grattan playground including tennis, soccer, hockey and basketball (with coaches!). We also take public transportation, and sometimes use a van or bus service as well for special trips.

What are the children doing at camp?

- Learning to care for our foster chickens

- Daily organized sports game with a coach

- Art with an art instructor

- Daily science & baking

- Slacklining & Drumming

- Daily excursions, including hikes and nearby playgrounds

- Daily Jewish story or thought and Jewish songs

- 3X Weekly special activities come to camp (in the past we have had balloon sculpting, a bouncy house, a petting zoo, an exotic animal show, bunnies...)

- Younger division goes on ones special trip a week, and older division goes on three special trips each week.

- Weekly Challah baking and Shabbat party

A camp calendar will be available March 1, 2026 - so that your child will know exactly what to expect in camp in each day!

Will my child feel comfortable in camp?

Our signature non-judgmental environment is made up of campers from all backgrounds. An individual's level of observance is not stressed. All children enjoy a shared Jewish spirit through songs and projects.

Working in Camp

We invite girls (rising 10th graders +) to apply to work in camp. This is a great camp to work in! We offer a lot of support to the counselors and give them the tools they need to be responsible leaders and confidence builders. Please email chaya@Chabadcv.org for more information.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING ABOUT CAMP

"My daughter came home every day gushing about what she has done, seen, played, learned and experienced. Every day was a gift."
